Acute Care at DCMH
The success of the well-designed Acute Care department at Douglas County Memorial Hospital can be attributed to input from patients, families, physicians and staff who worked together to create a unique environment for healing.
With 11 patient rooms, the Acute Care department has several regular patient rooms along with different specialty-care units, with staff trained for each specialty.
Acute admissions as well as custodial and skilled swing beds. RNs and medical staff are trained and current in Advance Cardiac Life Support and Trauma Services.
