Traveling for Cancer Treatment?

You may be eligible for intravenous therapy in your home community

Sanford Cancer Center is proud to offer our patients the highest quality of care with a convenient, seamless approach – no matter where they live.  We want patients who are receiving chemotherapy to have the ability to stay closer to the comforts of their home, and with our Virtual Infusion Project, we are making that possible.

The project is currently available at infusion centers in:

  • Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour, SD
  • Sanford Vermillion Medical Center in Vermillion, SD
  • Sanford Worthington Medical Center in Worthington, MN

Each infusion center is staffed with oncology-trained nurses giving you access to an expert team with specific training and experience in cancer treatments.  Each oncology-trained nurse also has immediate access to an expert oncology provider through telehealth technology, ensuring you continue to receive the same level of care, minus the travel time.

Talk to your physician today about receiving your same cancer treatments closer to home.
